Caroline McLean, MBACP (Accred), AMBICA

Welcome. I am an experienced counsellor and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work in accordance with the BACP code of ethics and am bound by its ethical framework, including being subject to its professional conduct procedure. I work with individuals and couples about a variety of life problems including relationships, stress and anxiety, and loss. I am also an accredited member of the British Infertility Counselling Association and I counsel individuals or couples that are affected by infertility issues. This includes clients that are having IVF or similar treatment, embarking on egg-share programmes or surrogacy. I also work with clients who are beginning to recognise that having a child may not be possible for them and I support them as they begin to reconcile themselves to a life without the child for which they long. I have a certificate in Clinical Supervision which allows me to work with colleagues regarding their own client work.

I believe that we all have the potential to lead happy and fulfilling lives and that there are times when talking through difficult and painful issues can enhance our wellbeing and ease emotional suffering.

If you believe speaking with me would be of benefit to you, please contact me.
